Donna News’ Meet the Redskins Q&A: Noah Hinojosa, Donna High Senior Defensive Tackle

DONNA— The Donna News caught up with Donna High’s Varsity Football Senior, Noah Hinojosa, and here is what he had to say about looking forward to this year’s season and about himself.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most as a player and teammate for the 2024-25 football season?
A: To help my team win a district championship.
Q: What do you like most about playing football?
A: That not everyone can play football. You have to be strong and dedicated and have the mentality to help win games.
Q: What’s your best moment you have experienced as a player or teammate on the football field?
A: When I caused a turn over to win the game.
Q: What are your goals as a player and teammate for the 2024-25 football season?
A: To make the playoffs and win district.
Q: How much have you prepared for the football season, and what do you feel you have improved on to help reach team goals?
A: I’ve prepared a lot just getting myself physically and metal ready. I feel like I’ve gotten a lot faster off the ball and better at getting off the double teams.
Q: Tell me about your journey in football?
A: I’ve been playing football since 4th grade and kept playing because of my older cousins inspiring me to become the Donna Redskin, and here I am today living the dream because of hard work and dedication.
Q: Talk to us about the love and dedication you have for your high school football team?
A: I dedicate myself to the Donna program, not only for my family but for the love of football.
Q: Tells us something your football coach has said to motivate you to play your best?
A: Your only weakness is your mind.
Q: What is your favorite play you like to run on offense or defense?
A: Thunder defense.
Q: Can you tell us what it feels like to you when you’re out on your home field and the crowd is cheering so loud for your team?
A: It feels unreal, the feeling is truly indescribable.
Q: How excited are you about High School Football Friday Night Lights and running out on the field with your team?
A: I’m excited for this up coming season more so because since we have a tuff schedule ahead people want to doubt us and make us the underdog.
