The Donna News caught up with Noelia Ramirez to ask her about the basketball season and her game. Here’s what she had to say in the Meet the Bravettes Q&A:

Q: Tell us when you knew you wanted to be a Bravette basketball player, and why?

A:   My middle school year becuase I joined basketball and I enjoyed it!  I knew I wanted to become a basketball player for Donna ISD when I would watch my sister play.!!! I attended camps at the age of 10 as time flew I became a freshmen and ever since I been a Bravette basketball player.

Q: How excited are you to bring that winning mentality to Bravette Basketball?

A:  Really Excited !!!!! Very Excited.!!! I’m excited to step on the court and show what I have and what I can do as a sophomore.! 

Q: What would you say is the most important aspect of your game?

A:   To win as a team and to never give up until the end.!!! 

Q: What did you do this summer to improve your game to get ready for this season?

A: Spin Move. Been working on it all summer. This summer I trained with leagues and traveled around for tournaments to gain experience.!!! And when the season is over I will continue to train and get ready for my junior year.!! 

Q: What basketball move did you work on to showcase this season?

A:  I kinda know moves already, but I could say my shooting form has gone a lot better! 

Q: What are your team goals for this year?

A: To talk on defense and offense to never give up till the end, and to always push one another if they make a mistake.!  

Q: What are your individual player goals for this year?

A:  too never give up and too always go up when ever I have the ball.! 

Q: Who ís you favorite professional basketball player? 

A: Angel Reese 

Q: Who ís the greatest basketball player of all time?

A: Kobe Bryant 

Q: What is your favorite basketball movie or video that you have watched?

A:  “Coach Carter.”  He likes to win and push his athletes and make them better .! 

Q: If you could pick any university in the country to play basketball for, which one would you choose and why?

A:  I would like to play for LSU it’s always been my future dream.

Q: What is your most embarrassing play or turnover you ever made playing for the Bravettes at any level?

A:   I don’t think I have ever had an embarrassing turnover or play, but my most embarrassing moment that has happened to me is when I tryed to take a charge and got slammed down.  

Q: What is your favorite classroom subject? 

A:   English

Q: What is your favorite game day hype song?

A:   My favorite hype song is Trophies by Drake 

Q: What TV game show or movie series would you like to appear on? 

A:  Double Teamed.! there all about winning and I like to win.! 

Q: Who would you pick as your all time greatest starting five?

A:   Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Lebron, Jordan Poole, Lamelo Ball, Serena
