Family-owned and operated restaurant will offer special gifts for the first lucky 88 guests on grand opening day, October 21

DONNA, Texas (October 18, 2022) – Panda Express®, the largest Asian dining concept in the U.S., is celebrating the grand opening of its newest location in Donna, Texas, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with members of the Donna Chamber of Commerce on Friday, October 21, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and a day of giving back for the first lucky 88 guests, who will be receiving a special gift*! Located at 1915 Murphy Ave. in Donna, this Panda Express location offers all of Panda’s iconic dishes, including the world-famous The Original Orange Chicken®, award-winning Honey Walnut Shrimp, guest-favorite Broccoli Beef entree, and Panda’s newest dish, Beyond™ The Original Orange Chicken™ -a delicious entrée co-developed with Beyond Meat® to capture the irresistibly crunchy texture and flavor of The Original Orange Chicken in a plant-based option.

At each Panda Express location, associates ring a bell each time a guest donates to the Panda Cares® in-store donation box. Panda Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Panda Express, donates 100 percent of the funds collected to local organizations that serve the health and education needs of underserved youth and disaster relief efforts. Panda also gives back to the local community through Neighborhood Fundraisers. Any organization registered as a nonprofit/501(c)(3)/tax-exempt organization can sign up for the Neighborhood Fundraisers, and Panda donates 20% of pre-tax event sales from in-person and online orders submitted through the Panda Express website or mobile app at the selected Panda location. Local store hours are Sunday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. in-store or until 10:00 pm for drive-thru.
