Bravettes cage Tigers at home

Last Friday The Bravettes hosted the Mercedes Lady Tigers in a match up that was close in the beginning, but led by the Bravettes all the way through.

On their next offensive play Valladares dribbled right and dribbled through the legs as Senior Guard Yzella Perez cut to the basket where she received a lob pass from Valladaraes and scored in transition to lift the Bravettes to a 4-0 lead.

Their defensive pressure on the Tigers tightened as Valladares stole the ball on by blocking the skit pass at mid court. She picked up the lose ball and finished with a right handed layup with her opponent in her face.

And the Bravettes didn’t let up on their defense as the Tigers struggled to move the ball across center court the rest of the game.
