City leaders approve Miller and Seventh Street to become a 4-way stop

By RAUL GARCIA JR. | The Donna News

DONNA — At the last city meeting on the top of the agenda city leaders discussed and approved to add stop signs heading East and West on Miller Avenue at the intersection of Seventh Street in an effort to slow down traffic at that intersection.

Currently, traffic heading North and South has had stop signs over the years.

It is not clear when the the intersection will get its new stop signs, but it was unanimously approved.

Council members were made aware the intersection has been prone to speeding, and has been a high risk for traffic accidents.
